About Us

HOMES SHAPED BY SITE, CLIMATE AND LIGHT

We’re a small residential and interior design studio that works closely with every client, from the first site meeting through to construction.

We’re flexible in how we work: bringing in your builder early, developing a design you already have, or starting from a blank page.

Whatever your approach, we’ll shape the process around you.

OUR APPROACH

Every home starts with its site and your brief. We study the climate, the land and the way light moves across it, then shape a home around the way you live. From there, you decide how far to take its performance. Some people want a home built to Passivhaus standard, while others prefer a few well-chosen upgrades, and we help you find the right balance of performance, design and budget.

HOW WE WORK

We keep the process clear and personal, and you work directly with us from the first site visit to the day construction begins.

We design your home and its interiors, manage council approvals and prepare detailed documentation for construction.

When it’s time to build, we help you find the right builder. If you already have one in mind, we’re happy to work alongside them as a team from the start.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

A beautiful home and a high-performing home are not a trade-off. Sustainability should be designed in, not added on, with orientation, light and materials doing most of the work before any system is added. And because no two sites or families are the same, every home we design is shaped by its land and the people who live there.
